Jason Zuzga published his debut collection HEAT WAKE with Saturnalia and is currently completing a new gathering of poems. He earned an MFA in Poetry and Nonfiction from the University of Arizona and PhD in English from the University of Pennsylvania, completing a thesis on the uncanny and nature documentary, He received a residential poetry fellowship at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown MA and was poet-in-residence in the James Merrill House. His poetry and nonfiction have been published in numerous journals, such as Tin House, the Yale Review, the Seneca Review, and the Paris Review. He is an Other/Nonfiction co-editor of FENCE, a co-editor of the recently launched FENCE Steaming series on the FENCE homepage (fenceportal,org), and is the Creative Director and Producer of the FENCE podcast. He works on the instructional team of the free online Modern and Contemporary American Poetry course through the Kelly Writers’ House at UPenn (modpo.org) and works as a full-time freelance editor of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.
